FROM THE ADJUTANT
Membership is the life blood of any fraternal organization. Many organizations have seen a serious decline in membership, Post 103 has been very fortunate to maintain our numbers.
Each of us know at least one veteran who is not a member of a veteran’s organization. We are asking each of our members to take the time to ask one qualified veteran to join Post 103.
Charlotte County has a huge population of veterans; Post 103 needs to reach out to these individuals. I ask for your assistance in this recruiting effort.
Please invite your hesitant friends to come to the Post to learn about the good things Post 103 is doing in this community and also become familiar with the American Legion.
PLEASE PAY YOUR 2017 DUES OF $50.00

SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION-JAN-2018
I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. 2017 was a rough year but we all made it through. Pray for a better year in 2018.
We are starting January with a special election to be held at our regular meeting on January 9th, 2018. We will be electing a new commander and I’m hoping for good turnout. I would like to have more interest shown for the squadron by more members.
Our January meal will be breaded pork tenderloin, roasted red potatoes and homemade stuffing. I am still hoping for suggestions for the monthly meals. Be creative, think out of the box not cooking from a box.
I want to thank all the members who have stepped up with helping serve the Friday meals.
